Chloe Lovell
Optometrist & Owner
B.Optom, First Class HonoursChloe graduated from the University of Auckland and gained experience in a variety of optometry practices before founding Waipapa Eyecare with her husband Douglas in 2008.
Chloe is therapeutically endorsed, allowing her to prescribe medications for a range of eye conditions. She has a calm, careful approach and enjoys helping people understand their eye health and their options.
Outside of work, Chloe is a proud supporter of her children’s sports teams and usually has a good book on the go.
Douglas Lovell
Practice Manager & Owner
Douglas manages the day-to-day running of Waipapa Eyecare and works to make sure the practice provides practical, friendly, and efficient service.
He is involved in the systems, technology, lens work, and customer service side of the practice, helping ensure clients receive clear information and practical advice.
Douglas is also focused on making the practice as useful and convenient as possible, including supporting the onsite lab, frame reuse, and modern lens measurement technology.
