Can I re-use my existing frame and just get new lenses, and do your charge extra for doing it?
Absolutely, you can re-use your frame, we don't mind and think if you have invested in a nice frame you should be able to use it again.
No, we don't charge any extra for doing so. We also have our own glazing equipment so you don't have to go weeks without your glasses. It takes us a few minutes when you order to trace your frame and order your lenses. Once your new lenses are ready it takes just a few minutes to install them.

How long does it take to get glasses?
If it is what we call a stock single vision lens, that is a lens with one focal range typical for near (reading) or distance (driving) then if we have them in stock we can often make them for you in under one hour.
If it is a custom made lens like progressive or bi-focal lenses, these take normally 10 working days, sometimes quicker if you are lucky.

Can I get two pairs of glasses for the price of one like I have seen advertised elsewhere?
Yes we do have a two pair deal if you really want two pairs of glasses, however, one pair cost less with us. We don't inflate our price so we can make a bold claim like "Buy one get one free" or "Two pairs for the price of one".

It is generally recommended to have a comprehensive eye exam every one to two years, or as advised by your optometrist. Regular eye exams are crucial for maintaining good eye health and catching potential issues early.

What are the common symptoms of digital eye strain, and how can I alleviate them?
Symptoms of digital eye strain include eye fatigue, headaches, and dry eyes. To alleviate these symptoms, take regular breaks, adjust screen brightness, and follow the 20-20-20 rule: take a 20-second break every 20 minutes and look at something 20 feet away.
Why should I come to an optometrist for my eye care and glasses instead of buying over-the-counter glasses or using online services?
Optometrists are trained professionals who provide comprehensive eye care tailored to your individual needs. Unlike over-the-counter glasses or online services, an optometrist can conduct thorough eye exams to assess your vision and detect any underlying eye conditions. This personalized care ensures that your prescription is accurate and up-to-date, leading to clearer vision and overall eye health. Additionally, optometrists can offer expert advice on frame selection, lens materials, and coatings, considering factors like lifestyle and visual preferences. Choosing an optometrist means receiving quality, professional care that goes beyond just obtaining glasses, ensuring the best vision and eye health outcomes for you.
